Now, though, the task force has suggested buying restrictions on in-state residents, too — and one longtime marijuana advocate thinks that if the legislature signs on to the idea, prices will go up. Woman robbed of medical marijuana | marijuana, police, east – Colorado Springs Gazette, CO
A woman who had just bought marijuana from a medical marijuana facility in the 2300 block of East Bijou Street Monday evening was robbed as she left the store, Colorado Springs police said.
Police said she was approached by a man armed with a handgun who demanded the bag of marijuana.
The victim told police she heard a click from the gun as the man tried to pull the trigger so she threw the bag of marijuana at him and ran back inside the facility and told the staff to call police.
The robber picked up the bag and ran east on East Bijou, police said.
